A lot of Mario Kart 8 videos are going to hit YouTube. Actually, they already have.

Remember that New Series I was talking about?
Remember when I mentioned creating a new video series? Here it is, sorta.

Working on new video 'series'
Today, I just completed a video to introduce a new series of videos I will be working on. It will somewhat revisit some old videos of mine, one in particular being the very first video where I mentioned the YouTube Partner Program.
It's going to be my first 'real' experience editing a 'high definition' video, though it really isn't much different from what I've done in the past with my earlier version of Sony Vegas.

Hopefully Upgrading to HD (sort of)
I just picked up some new video editing software, and it seems like it is able to create videos in 720p for YouTube. It can probably handle 1080p, but until more YouTube users get faster computers and internet connections, I think 720p is more than efficient.

YouTube's Recent Release Notes (Sept 30th)
The YouTube blog has posted it's most recent feature release notes. Read it here. (If you would rather get the short version, click the 'More' link below...)
The short of the update: more languages supported, more countries added to the Partner Program, updates to the video editor (which I can't use on my computer), Autoshare to MySpace (kind of late, isn't it?), filtering update to the 'Charts' page, improved screen reader accessibility (for visually impaired users), 'Shows' available in France, new 'HD' and 'CC' badges on search results, an 'Add to Playlist' button on video thumbnails in search results, and finally, the 'grayed out' videos which have been previously watched.
Anyway, I was going to mention this as a YouTube bulletin, but I couldn't post it for some reason. Guess I need to find out what that's about...

The Demand of Higher Quality
YouTube's definition of 'High Quality' has changed since it first started giving a 'High Quality' option on it's videos. Or at least I thought it did.
