The Demand of Higher Quality

YouTube's definition of 'High Quality' has changed since it first started giving a 'High Quality' option on it's videos.  Or at least I thought it did.

pelord.sonicretro.org Update

Finally got around to updating pelord.sonicretro.org (the home of the original YouTube Rant Articles) with recent information.  It now links here, as well.

Not really much else to say right now, but I'm glad I was able to finally update the page since it's been over a year since the last update.

YouTube and its (Potential) Live Streaming Platform

Just a couple of weeks ago, YouTube ran a trial of a Live Streaming platform.  While YouTube has streamed live events in the past, they gave some larger Partners the opportunity to test out the feature for the first time.  Although the trial is over, YouTube is listening to feedback on the feature, and may possibly open the feature to a wider group of users (starting with Partners, most likely) in the future.

Just a quick FYI...

To anyone new to my thoughts or opinions on YouTube, this will probably be news to you, but those people who have read my articles, watched my videos, or heard my discussion on Blog Talk Radio last year, you know the things I have said regarding YouTube's Partner Program.

Launching The YouTurbia Blog

For those of you who read my YouTube Rant Articles from my website, you may remember the name, YouTurbia.  Instead of writing a few occasional articles on my site, I've decided to create a blog to continue the series.

This blog will mostly follow YouTube related news, but I may throw in a few other random things as well.  There will definitely be many things for me to say in the near future.

YouTurbia... it's kind of like... Suburbia...
