YouTube Adds Features to Video Editor

I don't have too much experience with the feature (never really needed to use it, and I had problems with it when I tried), but YouTube has added a few new features to it's video editor.

Features added include a stabilizer, which attempts to remove unsteady camera shaking from a video, and a 3D editing feature, which is an attempt to make YouTube 3D video much easier to create.

You can check out the full details here.

YouTube Creator Institute and YouTube NextUp

YouTube has just announced on their blog that they will be hosting a 'YouTube Partner Virtual Meetup' on Tuesday, January 18th, 2011 at 2PM PST (5PM EST).

YouTube is currently accepting questions on the Official YouTube Channel, where the live event will be streamed.  The event will also accept feedback and questions live via Twitter (using the tag #YTPartner).

YouTube Homepage Experiments

Some have already seen it, but YouTube appears to be allowing everyone a chance to look at the new homepage design they have been working on.  More information can be found on the official blog post.

In case anyone was wondering, I chose to not use it at the moment.
