YouTube has recently discontinued it's embedded Custom Video Player, with the announcement being a bit under the radar.
The feature has not been entirely removed, as existing Custom Players created before the change should still work (although it seems that some are having a few issues, according to user feedback). YouTube suggests using it's Embedded Playlists feature from now on.
