YouTube Homepage Experiments

Some have already seen it, but YouTube appears to be allowing everyone a chance to look at the new homepage design they have been working on.  More information can be found on the official blog post.

In case anyone was wondering, I chose to not use it at the moment.

YouTube Annotations Updates

Looks like more updates are coming from YouTube today, this time they have announced updates to Annotations.

Longer Videos for (Almost) Everyone

Yesterday, a bunch of YouTube users seemed to discover that the 'Partner Settings' tab was appearing in their account settings.  The upload page said that videos over 15 minutes were possible.  Some users even saw the message implying that they could enable revenue sharing for all videos.  Did everyone become a Partner?  Not quite...

YouTube Taking Suggestion Features from Partners Again

Back in March, YouTube created a feedback form through Google Moderator to take new feature suggestions from YouTube Partners.  They've decided to do this again, and you can read more about it here.

I don't know if there is any kind of restriction that only allows YouTube Partners to submit features or to vote on them.  If there is, feel free to pass your idea on to me and I can consider posting it.  The features are generally Partner related, so if there's something you think needs to be fixed regarding the program (or the features in it), this can be an opportunity to let YouTube know.
