Remember when the YouTube Blog would post an entry informing users of it's latest features?  These posts have returned, and you can read the latest here.

A few of the announced features include the official release of the new video 'end screen', an update to the Playlist bar, and more countries added to the list of availability for the YouTube Partner Program.

Update to the YouTube API

For the many Google Account users who don't actually have YouTube accounts, you will be able to take advantage of using various online applications that use the YouTube API.

The short version means that if you or someone else ever ran into a YouTube related app on website, but it couldn't be used without being logged in to a YouTube account, someone's found an official way around that.

Subscriptions Fail?

It appears that there is a problem with subscriptions on YouTube at the moment.  Seems that new videos uploaded since yesterday have stopped appearing under subscriptions.  Keep this in mind if you have recently uploaded any videos, or were thinking about doing so.  You might want to wait for the bug to be fixed, or use one of YouTube's alternate video sharing methods for the time being.
